These terms govern your use of Firefly, a web application for planning international relocation. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

The service

Firefly provides planning tools: a questionnaire-driven country comparison, an AI-generated relocation roadmap, budget tracking, scouting-trip planning, and related features. Features available to you depend on your plan (Free or Explorer).

Important: Firefly is not professional advice

Firefly provides general information and AI-generated planning content to help you organize your research. It is not legal, immigration, tax, financial, or medical advice, and no content in the product creates a professional-client relationship. Visa rules, tax laws, and costs change frequently and vary by personal circumstances. Always verify critical information with official government sources and consult qualified professionals (immigration lawyers, tax advisors) before making decisions. AI-generated content can contain errors or be out of date.

Your account

• You must provide accurate information and keep your password secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.
• One account per person; accounts are not transferable.

Plans and payment

• The Free plan includes the features listed on our pricing page at no cost.
• The Explorer plan is a one-time payment that unlocks all current Explorer features for the lifetime of the product, with no recurring subscription.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are in USD unless stated otherwise.
• Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy (14-day money-back guarantee).

Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to access other users' data or disrupt the service.
• Do not use the service for unlawful purposes.
• Do not resell, scrape, or systematically extract the service's content or data.

Your content

You retain ownership of the information you enter into Firefly. You grant us the limited license needed to store and process it in order to provide the service (including sending relevant inputs to our AI provider to generate your content), as described in our Privacy Policy.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep Firefly available and improving, but the service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We may add, change, or remove features. If we ever discontinue the service, we will provide reasonable notice and a way to export your data.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Firefly and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for decisions made in reliance on content in the product. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Paid access that is terminated for a terms violation is not refundable outside the refund policy window.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected in the effective date above and, where appropriate, notified in the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
